Moral leadership is the practice of guiding others based on a foundation of ethical principles, integrity, and a commitment to doing what is right, often with a focus on the greater good rather than personal gain.

A moral leader makes decisions that reflect a strong sense of responsibility and accountability, considering the impact of their actions on individuals, communities, and society as a whole.

We prioritize ethical standards over convenience, even when facing difficult choices or pressures, setting an example that encourages others to act with similar integrity. This approach fosters trust, promotes social cohesion, and often leads to positive, long-lasting change. It is not about exerting power, taking shortcuts, capitalizing on the insecurities of others, colonizing indigenous traditions, or gaining titles through certifications.

We value doing hard work to earn and uphold respect as carriers with eco-concerned vision and understanding about the what the future holds if high morals aren’t inherent.

Based on the values outlined by the Kambo Practitioner Collective, we prioritize this code of ethics:

  • Do No Harm + Safety: We prioritize the mental and physical well-being and safety of all participants, (and frogs) via specific safety protocols and knowing directly where we get our medicine from.

  • Integrity and Honesty: We maintain truthful and honest practices, holding ourselves to a level of integrity in all aspects of our lives.

  • Authenticity and Originality: We uphold genuine and unique approaches while staying connected to the tradition and roots of the medicine.

  • Trustworthiness: We are humbled and honored to build and sustain trust through reliable actions, education and communication.

  • Responsibility and Reliability: We hold ourselves dependable and accountable in our service.

  • Groundedness and Humility: We stay humble and grounded in all interactions and relations, walking behind the medicine.

  • Non-Dogmatism: We avoid rigid and dogmatic beliefs, or believing “there is only one way…”

  • Respect and Reciprocity: We foster respectful and reciprocal relationships with other practitioners, training groups, and indigenous wisdom carriers.

  • Education: We commit to teaching comprehensive, in depth, high-level trainings as well as committing to continuously educating ourselves.

  • Moral Leadership: We lead with heart-centered, eco-conscious ethics, avoiding exploitation or cultural appropriation.
