O U R V I S I O N
Our focus is on uniting practitioners across the world connected by a more unified moral compass to set a higher standard and accountability for those in service and those who will be stepping into service.
What we see:
-Practitioner trainings that are only 4 days long
(We believe this falls way short of the amount of time and training it takes to equip people to hold lives in their hands with Kambo - our trainings are 12 days long)
-Practitioners being accepted into trainings having only sat with the medicine once or twice
(We believe you can only take people as far as you’ve gone yourself, and such little experience by a practitioner is only barely scratching the surface of depths of Kambo. This rush to head to into a training signals an egoic need and entitled energy of “I want it and I want it now.” Spirit knows there’s no rush, and anything that’s a calling will continue to call.)
-An emphasis on kambo as a “job,” “chosen profession” or path someone “decided” they want to do.
(For many of us in this group, we believe Spirit calls the Carrier and invites them into a practitioner role. It’s not a right, it’s a privilege. It’s not given, but it’s earned through hard work, time, devotion, discipline, experience, and practice.)
-In the Western World, our culture has been programmed to “take” -short cuts, cheap options, and traditions that aren’t ours and turn them into a capitalistic venture founded on certifications and unearned titles.
(This is not ours to colonize. If Kambo is going to remain an option for the Western world’s alternative /holistic healing, it must be carried, served and stewarded by those who recognize the profundity, complexity and intricacies of this ritual so it doesn’t become another gift from Nature made illegal.)
-Practitioners who have been serving for 2-3 years calling themselves “Advanced” or “Master” practitioner because of a certification
(Do you know what it really takes to achieve Mastery? Read our standards for titles that can’t be certified)
What we’re focusing on building…
We are building a family of the most highly qualified and experienced practitioners learning and serving at the intersection where western world educational standards meets initiations with Indigenous elders to provide the most knowledgeable and deeply experienced facilitators.
We safeguard indigenous wisdom by maintaining direct relations with our teachers and integrating it into our service, trainings and leadership practices.
We see you.
We welcome long-term, seasoned facilitators as our foundational ground - those practitioners who have been in the field for a number of years, serving regularly, who have served complex and fragile health conditions, and who are ready to step into an individual and collective leadership role for the future of Kambo.
We also welcome newer practitioners with dedication, devotion and potential as respectable carriers who may need guidance or mentorship along the way.
We’ve heard from many new practitioners that they feel unsupported by their training body or that something wasn’t authentically aligned with their lead facilitators.
We welcome individuals who train with us as well as practitioners who trained elsewhere and are simply needing family and more expanded experience in the field.
We see cliquey, culty and dogmatic vibes in the field. We’re not here for that. We’re here to unite practitioners with similar values to support each other in the safe-guarding and respectful stewarding of this precious gift.
